Please be patient. There are quite a few images to load and they total a couple of megabytes.

The main screen has menu selections to get to the various home control screens.
It also has the controls for the lights for the house. The "- / +" in the middle allow dimming of lights.
All lights in the house are controllable by the system, as are the sprinklers and security system.
The "Current Artist / Track" information refer to the main room / main audio zone;
typically, we have the same audio playing throughout the house.

This is the same screen showing an incoming call from Diana - the queen of the castle!
All calls are looked up against a phone-book of known callers and a custom name and/or picture is associated with them.

XM Radio streams in as one possible source of music.
Favorite artists and albums can be selected as they play and added to a list for later purchase or lookup to play from the in-house library.
XM Radio Control and Display

Pressing the "LIGHTING" button on the XM - or most other screens - brings up control of many of the lights.
The control sits on top of whatever the active scene on the system is and any visible elements below it are still usable.
Pressing "Music" in the lower-right, for example, would close the Lighting contols and take the controler to Music.

Non-broadcast music (from CDs or MP3s) comes from a dedicated Home Theater and Audio server.
It has two terabytes of storage and multiple audio and video outputs.
It can serve video to the main or secondary screens and simultaneously serve four different audio streams to different rooms.
Music Control and Display

Choosing from the 800+ albums of music (over eleven thousand tracks - over a month of music) can be done by browsing artists,
or genres or pre-built "play lists" of favorite music. Music can even be selected based on "pace" or "intensity".
Radio streams from the internet are available as well. Music Selection

Lighting controls can pop up here as well.
Music Selection

Music can also be browsed by viewing the thumbnails of all the albums.
It isn't really a very practical way to peruse over 800 albums, actually...
Music Selection

The Jukebox mode is cute... but similarly nearly worthless.

Movies have similar selection capabilities - by title or actor or diretor or genre or other characteristics.
With a password, you can view the full collection (around 400 DVDs) or see the children-friendly group without a password.
Movies are stored in a 400-disc DVD changer and on the dedicated Home Theater and Audio server.
Playing a movie is a simple as touching the "MOVIE" button or the cover art and the system chooses the appropriate
playback device, queues up the movie, sets the audio and video settings and plays the movie.
Currently, it is separately necessary to ensure that the projector is turned on and the screen is down... but that will change.
Selecting a DVD from the thumbnails

Controlling the movies while playing can be done by a standard remote control (Pronto NG RF) or by the touch-screens.
Note also that all movies have information about them - though not everyone might agree with the various reviews.
DVD description in the back and DVD controls overlaid.

Since the standard "pull up" controller seemed to cause a bit of confusion and involved pushing small on-screen buttons
the new interface uses HUGE buttons to make movie control even easier than with a typical remote control. Dedicated DVD control screen.

Many movies or series have multiple DVDs to them.
Rather than have each disc show up individually, the system indicates that this is a "Multi-Disc Set".

Choosing a multi-disc set brings up a list of choices of which discs to play.

A Weather reference screen allows viewing local as well as remote weather conditions.
Touch the upper-right city name and get the current and forecast weather for that location.
Weather info from wherever you like...

===================================================================

Cameras around the outside of the house allow viewing and recording of everything surrounding the house.
Motion in any region during a designated time gives additional security by recording and notifying extra-normal activity.
Motion at the front door sends a photo of the area via email as well as recording and/or using other notification methods.
At night, the cameras don't show as much...

A web browser on the touch screens allows anyone to pick up a tablet and browse the KeyesFamily.org web site - or any other.

The web browser also gives access to more detailed home control.

There are also a few casino-type games that play well on a touch-screen computer.
