This is a fabulous viewing area overlooking the Bay and the Dunes park. This would be a great spot to watch the fireworks on July 4th! Bring a pen and a camera.

Stop # 50 on today’s 50 cache bike ride. This was an easy find, but I had to wrest control of the cache from roughly 837 billion ants (give or take a few million). TNLNSL. TFTC!

We were visiting Balboa on a family reunion vacation and found this cache. My nephew and I braved highway 1 to get to this cache. It was a beautiful day and there was a nice view from the cache site. TFTC!

The ambitious trio of Humpsty, clean dirt, and Travail70 decided to take on bikencache today. We started at Big Bridge----little creek (gc11gv6) and walked all the way to Can U Canoe (gc1azbh). We snagged almost every active cache along the 12 mile route today (1 DNF).
We stopped by the beach since the last find. It was awesome! We dunked our heads in the shower, filled our camelbaks, drank, drank, drank, and completely recharged. then we got lost.
Once on the correct trail again, we found our way to GZ and a quick find and grab from clean dirt. We were pretty tired, so we sat and enjoyed the view. Took a couple of pix. Pretty much done with bikencache... one or two more and joy.
