| Your looking for a highly camoed cache. Just off the bike trail
close to the rivers edge.No need to bushwhack. |
I stood and looked around me
Myself I could not find.
An elder asked, "What do you seek?"
"My soul I'm trying to find"
Close to the sacred waters
That's where you should be.
Upon the sacred water's edge
Upon a sacred tree.
And so I walked the sacred path
And found a sacred tree
And there I stayed, no time did pass
The universe and me.
I waited and I pondered
All that I could see
And watched the birds and flowers
The universe and me.
I slept beneath the sacred tree
And often did I dream
As a whole, the universe,
Life's flowing steady stream.

Stop # 23 on today’s 50 cache bike ride. I don't know if the hint still applies, but I don't think the 'no bushwhacking necessary" park still applies. Maybe I took the wrong way in, but I had to do a lot of Bw-ing to get close to GZ. Once there, I didn't stick around to look very long because I was really uncomfortable about leaving my bike unlocked and out of sight way back by the path. Oh well, I'll be back.

After much bush wacking and standing in 1-2ft range for 15 minutes the bugs drove me off.

The cache density of the bikencache series lured me from across country and it did not disappoint.
Thanks for our 16th cache today on this biggest caching day yet. It was a beautiful day and by this time I was in shorts. I wondered what all of these side branches are used for on the trail - there were so many I actually took the wrong one first before correcting my approach. many thanks.
hours spent caching: 7 miles walked: 9.7 caches found: 43 DNFs: 7 (drat) Setting a new big day record and outcaching Vanelle while caching entirely on foot: PRICELESS

11:01 am: I had been avoiding the Bikencache caches since I did not bring my bike with me, but since this streach of road does not have any obvious no parking signs I went to make the grabs. Easy grab, left Steve Martin Button #1689, TFTC.

Found this one with biomedy while hiking and caching a six mile stretch along the San Diego Creek Mountains to the Sea Trail. Good camo. TNLNSL. Thanks for the fun!

Out and about with my “better half” and thought we would try finding a few of the “Bikencache” hides. Found this with out to much difficulty, of course with two pairs of eyes it is helpful. Great camouflage job. Left Canadian coin.
