A quick cache in a not so well known part of UCI.

The cache is hidden in fairly light brush near the UCI Science Library. There is parking all around, but bring quarters, because many of the spots are metered. You may want to use some extra stealth during the week as there are students everywhere from Mon-Fri.

The cache is roughly 4" by 4" by 2" and when placed contained a logsheet and 3 dice: 1 red, 1 white and 1 green.

The cache is small so bring your own pen (BYOP).

This is my first cache so please let me know what you think!

I started to weed whack but kept getting annoyed by bees. Then I saw a guy in a full beekeeper outfit, so I decided this was probably not one I wanted to go for without better protection.

Nice cache. Some more bushing than expected. Dropped TB Calc, but the cache turned out to be too small, so I picked it up again.

looked all over with MissAmerica1, was at night, and the brush is very over grown, so I will be back in daylight next time.
Saw all of JShults foot tracks, but no items in the hint.

I'll be baaaack!

Stopped back for a second search. Much less muggles today and cache was found... TFTC

Second visit here, first visit was a bit rushed. I was worried that we wouldn't be able to find it because of the over growth, but once we found it, it wasn't too bad. TFTC TNLNSL

Geocoin was not there, but had fun looking for this one. Our 10-year-old spotted it. Had to cross a stagnant drainage "creek" with lots of brush from where we approached. TFTC!

Had to go into work with the kids today, so we did a little treasure hunting on the way. Left a sponge animal (just immerse pill in water).

First cache find in the new year. For some reason the GPS led us astray earlier, but this time took us there. Not too many people around during the holidays. My knee was giving me problems so my son went down and I gave him directions of what to look for and he came up with it and brought it up for me to sign. I think that this is no. 150 for me. TFTC

Caching around the UCI Campus with Cache'n'Carey today. Lots of parking early Sunday morning! Wink Bees still there but not a threat and the crack pipe is still laying around. What's up with that?! Cache is in good shape and well hidden. Cool camo, I have never seen one of those before. TN/LN/SL TFT$~
* The geocoin is NOT in the cache...bummer *

Prowling around the UCI campus with a.k.a. Diana this morning. Parking is not a problem early Sunday morning. Yes, lots of interesting things to see back here - the beehive is still going strong (but definitely a safe distance away) and the crackpipe is still there (but not near the cache). All in all, an interestly little stroll to the cache! Smile TFTC!
