Micro cache in the Irvine Spectrum Area with NO pencil.
Should be able to park very near the cache, MOST of the time. |
After making your way to the nearby Water Park, this will be a
nice stop over. It's not Death Valley, it's not a Mountain Resort,
it's an exciting family playground offering a wide variety
activities.
Please make sure to hide the container well and don't let the
security guards or muggles catch you.

#515. Seems like the Druids beat us to most of the caches today, and this one was no exception! Druid Frank found it quickly. SL, and on to the next one!

Out caching in the Irvine area with half of the Mojostones team today. Druid Frank found this one just as a major muggle walked by. We quickly signed the log and were on our way. TFTH!

Hmmn, another mission involving water. This time, however, I'm ready. While wearing a full wetsuit under my BDU's, I roll with the team as we park the transport and gear up. There's a white branch sticking out of a window, but Protector swears it's good camo this time of year.
We wade in, our waterproof face-paint holding so far. Good thing, 'cuz there's nothing more ridiculous than streaky faces. The team has experience navigating treacherous waters, but Daffy always has to show off his swimming prowess. That's cool, he zooms ahead to scout the various twists and turns in the river. I'm a little concerned, as there's no telling what biohazards the young unfriendlies may have left behind. But we press on, and eventually arrive at GZ.
What a sight we must've been. Four males emerging from the water, dripping wet, with no emergency shower for miles around. ;-) Eventually, someone asks about the team's Christmas cards, and a bolt of panic hits me. I've got all 612 cards in my coat pocket, but wait a sec.. we've been in the water for a fairly long time. I reach in the pocket and pull out the cards, neatly encased in plastic bags. Whew, that coulda been messy.
