Quail Trail

No plants or animals were harmed in the making of this cache. Finding should be likewise.

Gardening is the art of growing plants with the goal of crafting a purposeful landscape. Although a garden typically is located on the land near a residence, it may also be located in a roof, in an atrium, on a balcony, in a windowbox, or on a patio or vivarium.
Gardening also takes place in non-residential green areas, such as parks, public or semi-public gardens (botanical gardens or zoological gardens), amusement and theme parks, along transportation corridors, and around tourist attractions and hotels. In these situations, a staff of gardeners or groundskeepers maintains the gardens.

Indoor gardening is concerned with the growing of houseplants within a residence or building, in a conservatory, or in a greenhouse. Indoor gardens are sometimes incorporated as part of air conditioning or heating systems.

Water gardening is concerned with growing plants adapted to pools and ponds. Bog gardens are also considered a type of water garden. These all require special conditions and considerations. A simple water garden may consist solely of a tub containing the water and plant(s).

Container gardening is concerned with growing plants in any type of container either indoors or outdoors. Common containers are pots, hanging baskets, planters, and match stick containers. Container gardening is usually used in atriums and on balconies, patios, and roof tops.

Please don't bother the guardener.

We parked below near QT2Plumb and walked up the hill to this one. Very tricky. We spent a while here with Team Rand before Randy spotted it. We might have still been looking if not for him. Then the walk back down the hill has the greatest view. We sure enjoyed it. TNLNSL Thanks for this cache in this lovley setting.

Found this cache with my family while visiting my younger brother! I think my mom actually found it. Was on the other side of the wall and the guard said "you can't be here."

11:24. Came down to Shady Canyon for my nephew's 3rd birthday party yesterday. Today, we decided to hike out to this cache after breakfast. It was a bit of a roundabout walk from the house, and Kyle was worn out after the trek.

Tricky find but out of 4 of us, we finally got it. We had to be warned by the guardener not to get runover. :-) TFTF

Why yes, it is my $5. If you could, please put it back in my pocket, http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=e12d2ed9-343f-40f5-a8eb-ec1ac45e4ea2 .
And the reward for finding it is $5. Eh, lets just call it even.

While riding/walking along the trail, J says, "That's a five dollar bill! Should I pick it up?". Well, what does any good parent tell their kid. Hell yes. She pocketed that sucker quickly and then treated us all to a drink (soda) later in the day with it. She even had enough to buy a bag of Milky Way Bites. Best caching day she ever had. She wants to know if "Cache in Pocket" dropped it out of.......What else?????........His POCKET.......

Thanks for the fun and if you DID drop it, you have to talk to J about it........

Came for a walk after work. Thanks for the reason to come along this new trail. As the signs said, I noticed I was entering a natural area NOTToungeOut unless you want to count the residents of the new houses wild animals. They do have a guard gate to make sure they don't get out. TFTC

#6 cache today. This was great. My husband dropped us off at the gate so we could "grab" this one before we headed home. Just as we found the cache my little one had to go potty so we raced out, looked for my husband driving up and down the hill to pick us up, and got to the super nice bathroom at the trailhead just in time. The important thing is we did make it and it was the perfect end to a perfect morning. The storm can come raging through the OC now. We are tired and ready to be couch potatoes for a least a day.
