This cache is a milestone cache for cache_in_pocket or CIP as we
call him. This will be his 1000th find.
Welcome to the kilo club!!!!
The view from this spot is amazing. I heard hawks overhead and
birds in the brush as I walked up here. It is an easy walk.
There is a 1k Milestone Coin and Pin for cache_in_pocket. There is
some other swag in the cache, like some Bison capsules for micro
caches.
For some amazing cache hides check out his
profile.
Congratulations cache_in_pocket!!!!!!!

Beautiful views of the area today. Kids had a blast riding "down" from this one on their bikes. SL. Thanks.

Nice view of the area. Out there alone and there aren't many places to hide. I hope it sticks around as traffic along this trail picks up. TFTC.

Cache #3 today. We made the hike with my dad and our little one. We let little Lucky "find" the cache and he was so excited. He fell hard for the travel but "Soiled Bunny" and has been loving her ever since. Beautiful view. I know I keep saying this but--I have never been here--I am so grateful that geocaching has helped me find all these places that have been "hidden" out in the open. The only mistake we made was climbing over the hill to "Plumb Bob" instead of going back down and around. It was really beautiful but hard going. There were some fantastic hawks cruising around. TFTC

First of all, congrats to CIP for 1000th find! We almost didn't see the trail. If it wasn't for two muggles walking on the trail we would have passed it right by. Found the cache right out in the open, we could see it a mile away! It was the easiest find for the day and a good cache to end on. We hid the cache better than we found it. What a beautiful view. A nice quick hike...didn't realize there was a trail, so had to do some trailblazing. But the walk back was a lot nicer. Great view of the freeway and Irvine. Thanks for the cache.
Took: Love Bug Left: Soiled Bunny

After spending a couple hours putting up Holiday lights and such, it was time for a break (if you call a 4+ mile hike, a break). Parked at the trail head and headed up the trail.
This was going to be the LAST cache after doing the trail. By the time we finished the hike it was too dark ti head into the hills without a flashlight. We'll have to comr back.
Congratulations CIP...
