(This is the third cache in a three-part series. The first cache is GCZ0TB and the second cache is GCZ0TD.)

The cache is NOT at the listed coordinates. To find the cache's actual location you must read the description below.
This cache can be dangerous, and should not be undertaken by the weak of heart. DO NOT attempt this cache if it is raining, or is about to rain.
As always, use common sense while finding this cache and don't take any unnecessary risks.

"The third and final item is located much further down the tunnel. You'll come to a sharp incline, and then the path will divide into two short square passages. It doesn't matter which one you take, because they meet up again later.

"That'll take you to a long, straight passageway. There's some bats that make their home here. Try to not disturb them. You'll need to walk to the very end. There, you'll find the Mouth That Devours. At least that's what I like to call it. This was the furthest point that I went to. There was no way I was going to enter that Mouth. In fact, the same day that I found the Mouth was the same day I told our employer that I was quitting the job.

"But enought about that. You don't need to hear about the fears of an old man. The third item should be located near the Mouth. In fact, I was almost convinced that I saw the thing. The only problem was the item was located at least nine feet above the ground, maybe more. And there I was, alone and ladder-less. If you do plan on getting that last item you'll want to take a step stool at the very least, and maybe a tall friend too.

"I admire the courage you have, going back in there to finish my job. But you might change your tune once you spend some time in that tunnel.

"Sure, I admire you. But I don't envy the ordeal that you're signing up for. Things get all twisted up in that tunnel, and sooner or later you don't know if you're leaving or just walking further into the belly of the beast. Sound can get echoed back on itself, and after awhile your own footsteps begin to sound like something else. Like something is sneaking up behind you. Good luck to you. I hope you're more successful at this job than I was."

The man gives you a warm handshake, then gets to his feet and leaves the room. You take another look at all of the notes he provided. You can't shake the feeling that the man seemed to be hiding something from you. Throughout the whole conversation, he never made eye contact with you. Not even once.

After having success on the second part of this series, we ventured farther into the belly of this beast. Got damp on the way to it, but wetter on the way out. Found it on our second try but neglected to bring any small children to feed to the beast and/or retrieve the cache so it was up to Skippy the Wonder Monkey. There were lots of large swag items in the cache, and one that Skippy is pretty sure he will never need. So we left it all there and added a pencil. Wish we had held onto the TB that we dropped earlier in the evening, but it might have sat here undiscovered almost as long as Skippy had been holding onto it already (He's not really allowed to pick up TBs for this reason).

We had parked where we were instructed and entered the same way, but decided to seek out an alternative exit. By the time we had walked way past where the car was, we decided to turn around and return from whence we came. This is an excellent series and we were still talking about them days later.

Thanks for the great story and caches,

Skippy :)

We parked where we were told to park, and walked where we were told to park, and enjoyed a very fun caching afternoon/evening. We came the day after a rain and that made our trip very interesting. After finding this great cache, we ventured on into the mouth. We went past the uvula and tonsils, and ventured down the esophagus. We passed through the stomach, just positive that we'd find another way out! We chose not to continue into the duodenum once we found an unmovable stoma (manhole). What a fun adventure! I did slip on the uvula on the way back out, and ended up wet up to my knees and a wet butt to boot! I was very tired and had trouble straddling what I had straddled on the way in.

Very fun times. Thank you for the adventure! --Happy :)

The MOUTH was scary, as was the rest of the beast painted further down on the wall. Was tempted to continue but took the wiser choice and headed back. Thx for a great series.

Found with TMAN389. Easily located. Avoided the knarly teeth of the monster guarding the tunnel. Use of father and boosted child retrieved the cache without incident. Turned back at this point as recommended. Great fun had by all. Thanks.

Found it with the group. The water gets much deeper and more smelly down here. After finding the cache we spotted a King Snake that had been stepped upon. I don't think we did it. But there is a snake guarding GZ near the mouth.

We arrived at the end of the line in good shape. No slips, no falls, no mishaps of any kind. Artificial lighting was in good shape. Not sure what to expect at this one, but there was something unexpected found. Take good notes if you go after this one, 'cuz if you make it, there will be a test. ;-) TFTC!

Unfortunately I did not have a name yet so I was unable to log, but I was there with ekard and cacheinpocket. Was a lovely stroll through the sewer. Thanks for the adventure.

The path to the final destination was long and treacherous. More deep muck and slippery scenarios. Luckily the team navigated the pitfalls and incurred no accidents. At one point the lighting equipment went dead. It was truly a dark forbidden place. At the point or the devourer we too spotted something suspicious. With all flashlights moving in on the target, it was easily seen and retrieved. Thanks to Agent Square D and his trainee for supplying the retrieval equipment. Your estimates to its location were accurate. With the target now retrieved we realized that it might rematerialized and that other agents might need to return for further retrieval operations.

The forces at work here were indeed superb and the operation was quite exhilarating...with exception of the odor in a few spots. Thanks for passing this job off to us and look forward to more work from the employer.

Out with a big group. Good thing we had the ladder. TNLN Loved the tunnels, but the smell was not as good. :-P TFTC

Congro-rats on the FTF, jhoros! Mrs. Wisearse and I also helped Clyde and Matila hide and test this one, and again, we've been really curious where all the cachers have been. We think this cache is a just a blast, from the great write-up to the final placement, and hope other cachers out there will see to giving this one the attention it deserves.

Thanks, Clyde and Matilda, for another truly unique cache. Poor Mrs. Wisearse STILL wakes up late at night now and again with nightmares of the horrific beast's mouth and the decent into the abyss.

Best,
Mr. & Mrs. Wisearse.
