My lat/long was "off" by 40 feet. Thanks to the clue and some geosense, it didn't take too long. TFTH

It's always good to read your pals logs - I somehow forgot to record this find but can always rely on Foon and Troupb-b for their geo-accuracy Coordinates were off but we had some logs with us - Foon and I were looking in the wrong East - good thing one of us knew how to read the compass and that the mountain lions weren't hungry! Thanks for the fun. Left a golf ball I found at "Hidden Springs" and took a Hacky Sack.

Tenth of 15 finds tonight with GoBeach and TroupB-B. Coords were way off, but we had printed out the logs and found a better set of numbers in one of the entries. Many thanks, JJG10101. Glad we didn't get eaten by mountain lions while looking for the balls.

This was the tenth of 15 finds tonight while out doing some late-night geocaching with my friends, gobeach and Foon! Continuation of GCY9NA hike, and we felt a lot better getting back inside the fence and away from the mountain lions - until we saw the sign again on our hike to this cache! Gobeach said that we just need to be aware and make ourselves look "really big!" if we see one. I'm only 5'4" tall; I figured I was doomed... , except I had fearless Foon and gobeach to help protect me! It's always good to night-cache with friends, especially brave ones!
No joy with the coordinates on the webpage, so we tried the coordinates in JJG10101's log and found it right away! Gobeach left a golf ball and took a ball, I believe.
Note: Amazing how gpsr's will vary in location; mine also has issues sometimes and I'll find myself 30-45 feet off of the actual location where Foon's or gobeach's gpsr is pointing right at it. Technology... BTW, our new gps satellite should be going on line later this month! Keep a look out for Sat 31 (I think that's the right number).

Nice spot for a cache, but we found it 30' south of where our GPS told us that it should be. There is a lot of bushwhacking and places to hide a cache in 30 feet. We did find it. TNLNSL Thanks for this cache.

Found after a search as coordinates on our GPS were off.

Maybe your batteries are low? I've found that if I'm below 25% power, I start getting BAD readings. I've gone to rechargable batteries and keep 2 sets going. WAY better results with better power... Jsut an idea..
This one have been checked and checked and double checked. Some people claim it RIGHT ON and others WAY off.
When placing the series, I walked past the same spot about 6 different times and from all three directions.
I've stood in the parking lot and it said XX feet THRU the wall (which is correct).

Whoa. This guy was 40 ft. from GZ. That's a bit more than usual, so I've include my coords. Might be time to trade in that Magellan for a Garmin. ;-) TFTC!
