Log only, bring a pen.

This series of caches are found in a seldom noticed area in Newport Beach.
Apartment dwellers have their own paved path down to the trail.
Hikers can find, just below the cache, a nice wooden bench with a
commemorative inscription plaque. Visit the cache and then stop by the bench
after signing the log.

This cache is one of many of a new "device/type" that I've been making and
hiding lately. With a new source of containers you'll find more of these to come.
Come SNIFF them out and see if you like them...

No room for swag. Bring a pen.

We had been to this area before and enjoy it. It looks like it has been improved upon even more since then. From the direction we came, one took the high road and one took the low road. I won't say which I took, but found it quickly. Enjoyed reading the cache page after getting home, and we had taken time to appreciate the bench.

Thanks for the stroll and pointouts,

Skippy :)

After finding the two new caches south of here, we walked north to find a few more. Although we didn't take the most graceful way to get here, it was fun and eventful. We didn't have any info, but all we needed was the coordinates!

Thanks for the cache,

Happy :)

Took a while to locate it...but found it. The hiding spot blends in well with the area.

I led CA Girls around and up, and over, and around trying to find this cache. The actual finding was much easier than the effort I put into getting to the correct location. Had fun, though!

Found it with BuzzKill on a nice stroll through the park. This one took some doing - the GPS sent us in a circle - but we found it! TFTH!

Been here before but not this far south. Good hide. Cammo fooled the geo-ranger at first, then trusted the GPS and made the find. Last find of the eve ...

Just up the hill from 'Behind the Goals', nice night for caching with my pals Foon and Troupb-b. Cache needs a bit of maintenance, seems to be getting too wet and loosening things up a bit. Clever hide though - Thanks for the fun.

Thirteenth of 15 finds tonight with TroupB-B and GoBeach. Another nice hike, but the cache may need some maintenance or further protection. It was a very clever hide, but the cache was extremely wet and some of the material was starting to peel off. TFTC.

This was the thirteenth of 15 finds tonight while out doing some late-night geocaching with my friends, gobeach and Foon! After all of the excitement of GCY96K, it was nice to take a short hike to this cache and watch the firepit glowing in the night. We were a little concerned with the location, thinking that bushwacking was going to be involved after all, but the happy path was there all along! Thanks for the hide! TNLNSL. Two things: a) the cache needs some maintenance; tape on the container is wet and peeling off; b) don't trip over the sidewalk and fall into the culvert; I darn near killed myself! Only some quick footwork (accompanied by a couple of "ooohs" from gobeach and Foon) kept me from a tumble. I guess geocaching keeps me agile as well. Smile
