Another cache in the "Three Ways to Approach" series.
Log only, bring a pen. |
While exploring for another cache in this series I came upon this
sports park.
I was surprised by all the people here during a weekday, moms,
soccer players, basketball players but no baseball players.
You can come from the road and park nearby OR you can walk in from
the path from the Bonita Canyon bridge
OR you can walk down the stairs that link the park to the habitat
area
leading to the trail under the Bison Bridge.
Be careful to replace the cache where you find it.
Bring a pen but NO swag...

We really enjoyed the stroll through here this morning. Pretty quiet at 7am, just a few dog walkers and mountain bikers. TNL pencil.
Thanks for the series of caches,
Skippy :)

We stayed sure to keep out of the area where we weren't supposed to be! We came the long way--from BC bridge--it's such a nice walk! Not a soul around this morning. Thanks for the cache. --Happy :)

Great spot for the cache. It took awhile to find it....but the clue is the sign.

No one in park today and it was cool and windy. Easy find. Thanks TNLN

The park was relatively empty for a Saturday, which I found surprising (I guess all the nannies had the day off). I laughed at how this cache might technically be considered an illegal placement! haha!

Interesting walk over to the GZ with Troupb-b and Foon. Someone living on the hillside seems to have an elongated fire pit and we couldn't figure out whether the house was on fire or the fire pit was being used. Troupb-b had a conversation with the 911 operator and he brought up a good point - no smoke! Go figure! Would love to see that fire pit but not the gas bill [:0] Thanks for the fun!

Twelfth of 15 finds tonight with GoBeach and TroupB-B. While walking across the field, we saw a house all lit up on top of the hill. We saw flames, and they seemed to be getting bigger. We got worried, but then we saw some people milling around the area. We still called 911, just in case. I guess they were just toasting really big marshmallows. Later on, I told a friend about this, and he asked me what color the smoke was. I didn't recall seeing any smoke, and he told me that it was probably just a gas fire - no burning wood or anything. Anyway...nice hide on a very quiet night. Took nothing, left my Taco Bell lemonade.

This was the twelfth of 15 finds tonight while out doing some late-night geocaching with my friends, gobeach and Foon! This location is really very interesting, with the park and the nature trails, and all of the really big houses nearby. As we were hiking to this one, it appeared that one of the big homes was ablaze! OH NO! I even called 911 to report it, but it turned out to be a REALLY BIG outdoor firepit! Imagine my embarrassment. But the 911 operator was really nice and thanked me for my concern. We did find the cache; TNLNSL. Thanks for the hide!
