A quick walk from a park with great overlook of South OC. Park hours are daylight hours only.

Don't expect much of the container. Just an extra disposable ziplock container. I'll replace it with something better in a bit. There's noting but a sheet of paper for the log. That also will be fixed with the improved cache.

I was at the park for a La Leche League event and found there were no caches up here, so I found some extra supplies and put it out. It will need a replacement to last.

Great view of the valley and mountains. Had to wait quite a while, lots of mugglers on Sun. afternoon. Dropped off a couple of bugs and a geocoin from Arizona.TFTC!!

Met our friends at Laguna High School on Park Avenue and walked all the way up Skyline Drive, turning the 2 terrain rating (which is a bit high for this very easy dirt trail -- 1.5 would be perfect) into about a 3 to 3.5. It was a great workout on a gorgeous day. We all brought our respective canines as well. Alta Laguna Park was our final destination for a picnic/lunch, and afterwards I hunted out the cache on my own. Took a few minutes as it was well hidden. SLTNLN -- thanks for the fun, TerryDad2...

Went to go replace it this morning, but found the original container. I left it there and hid the replacement elsewhere.

OK, 2 adults and 2 kids searched for about 1/2 hour and couldn't find it. We were able to collect a few baseballs and see that beautiful spot for the first time so it's all good! We had fun anyway!

We are glad that there was a cache put in this location. We have been here numerous times before and the views from up here are great. In searching for the cache we found a baseball(must have been a home run), golf ball, and a brand new drinking glass. Going to have to use these items in future caches, except for the golf ball since we left it behind in the cache. We also put in a few toy compasses and a garfield toy to fill it up. We took the liberty of putting in a NEW log sheet in a plastic bag to save TerryDad2 any urgent trips back to the location. Thanks for the cache and the FTF!!!!!! BigSmile
