We all know and love Gilligan's Island. What character do you most identify with? Add it to your post. Skippy is the Professor and Happy is Mary Ann.

Possible high muggle zone, however there is some cover. A rather common hide. We made it a little more difficult to keep out of view of muggles (look from the north side). You'll see why we chose this spot when you look across the street.

Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale, a tale of a fateful trip. That started from this tropic port, aboard this tiny ship. The mate was a mighty sailin' man, the skipper brave and sure. Five passengers set sail that day, for a three hour tour, a three hour tour……… The weather started getting rough, the tiny ship was tossed. If not for the courage of the fearless crew, the Minnow would be lost; the Minnow would be lost. The ship took ground on the shore of this uncharted desert isle, with Gilligan, the Skipper too, the Millionaire, and his Wife, the Movie Star, the Professor and Mary Ann, here on Gilligan's Isle.

Hi Happy & Skippy,

I noticed that this cache has been temporarily disabled for a period of time well in excess of the period of ‘a few weeks’ as contemplated by the cache guidelines published on Geocaching.com. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever. Please either repair/replace this cache, or archive it so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location. Also, if you haven’t done so already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.

I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past and am looking forward to seeing your cache up and running in the future.

You may email me at via the link to my profile on the log. Please be sure to include the cache name and GCxxxx number, or better yet, the URL of the cache page.

Thanks for your cooperation!

After two DNF's on this easy cache, it's obviously gone. We'll get down and replace when we can. - H&S

I used to go sailing from this place when I was in college.

SillyCutie and WavyGirl and I looked all over for the cache. We even used the clue. No luck, though. Frown

5:00AM and feeling it too. Sure gets dark out here. We found a sign and gave it a few pat-downs, expecting something like a magnetic altoids tin, or whatnot. No luck.

Day 2 of my week long stay by the beach in Newport. I found the cache quickly enough (once my GPSr settled down) but didn’t get the cache name until I was looking down on the cache sight from the nearby PCH Overlook cache. Thanks for the fun.

We saw the H&S Yacht Sales business across the street. No wonder you two never get any sleep! We were hoping to find the keys to a nice new yacht in the cache.BigSmile The container was sitting out in the open, in plain sight. Doubt if anyone will bother it. TNLNSL. TFTC!

GiR and I found this one with ease. No parking available nearby so we couldn't stay to enjoy the view for long. TNLNSL
