This is another one where you usually just can't get a good GPS reading at the cache hiding spot. The alternate coordinates should take you to a prominent marker for this cache. From the marker, you only go about twenty feet at bearing 230 (approximately SouthWest) to get to the actual cache.
You do have to step over a small trench, which may have some water in the bottom, depending on the time of year. This is what gives this one the Terrain Rating of 2.
When I was scoping out this spot, a California King Snake was spotted crossing the path nearby. They are named King Snakes because they actually eat other snakes, including rattlesnakes, to whose venom they are immune.
Bring a pen to sign the log.

This was the 3rd of 6 caches found during yet another successful outing of the Orange Lunchtime Cachers Association (OLCA). I'm always amazed at how busy this area is during the middle of the day on a weekday. I guess if you can afford to live around here, you can afford to take a day off.

Third of six finds on a OLCA (Orange Lunchtime Cachers Association) outing. This has got to be the best way to end a week! Walked right by it and started searching where it wasn’t. Then I turned around and “there it is” Thanks for the fun.

Another fun find for us. Mr. Hoffco almost ended up taking a mud bath and pulling Mrs. Hoffco in with him! TNLN. SL. TFTH.

We saw no snakes here, thank goodness, but there were some very cool raccoon tracks at various points along the trail. Mr Hoffco made the excursion to secure this one. T dinosaur L mending kit SL TFTH!

The instructions led us right to this and we made a quick find at 1400. Signed log and took the OC_Clay geotoken and a whoop-whoop siren whistle, much to Minnie's annoyance (until mmcgr blew too hard on it and it flew apart - reassembly made it work but it no longer had a fluctuating tone). Left a Where's George bill. Thanks for the entertainment. mmcgr & Minnie
