This cache is located in Shady Canyon. Note you cannot drive in as it is a gated community. HOWEVER, there is a public trail through the area. Please stay on the trail as there is no need to leave it. Parking is available at N 33 37.997 W 117 48.208.
Enjoy looking at the new homes being built in this exclusive area. Also, if you continue past the cache site there are some great views of the Irvine area.
Cache is a log only with no pen. Please bring your own pen or pencil.

This was my first caching experience and it was awesome...we did it at night and we heard coyotes and had to runaway, but it was very cool...

Out with Smileez, Muir Trek (sans Outdoor Woman), Zonaboy and family and newbie Garrett. Went along the Quail Trail in Shady Canyon for some late afternoon caching....great day for a nice little hike...

My children have always liked the story of the Three Billy Goats Gruff. "Do the voices, Daddy! Talk like the troll!" YourBuddyBill sought the cache from the goats' point of view. Usually the troll is worse off at the end of the story than he was at the beginning, but not this time.

Nice container, nice trail improvement, nice time searching the wrong side of the structure for too many minutes while trickster83 smuggly enjoyed secretly finding this cache and hiding it undiscovered. took nothing, left footprints, signed log. thank you for this cache.

#785 - Out doing some morning caches with CIP. Found this cache right away. Signed the log and back to the trail for more caching.

Nice stroll on a scenic trail. Coords were right on and there was no evidence of a drunken bee dance spiraling out from this cache.
