Located above Newport’s Upper Back Bay this spot affords an excellent spot to view the harbor area and the Upper Bay as well. Trail entrance is at N33 37.523 W117 52.859

Cache container is a waterproof match container about a foot from the sprinkler at the base of a shrub. I know I just totally gave away the cache, I really just wanted to share this view with you, not make you work finding a small container in the bushes.

This was the last cache of the day and a milestone for both Cache'n'Carey and myself. We had a great time walking the Back Bay trail today. Gorgeous weather, lovely views and great company! Isn't that what makes this all worhtwhile? Thanks for bringing us to this fabulous spot, MD!

Walking the Bikencache series from #22 to #54 (along with a few side trips) with aka Diana on a gorgeous day. One of our side trips took us to this beautiful location. Watta View to celebrate #300 for me! TFTC and a worthwhile milestone!

Kris and I had a nice walk up to the cache, and we did enjoy the view on this clear crisp afternoon. We noticed that the first log on this cache was exactly a year ago, and it had moved a little bit. We tried to replace it more where the hint indicated. SL. TFTC. Ycats.

Reading the cache description for the trail start would have made this easier. I whacked a lot of bushes instead. Thanks for the climb.

This turned out to be a real adventure! We did not use the coordinates for the beginning of the trail. (our bad!) Instead, we decided to tackle this one from one of the Bikencaches we found. Not the best idea we've ever had! We also laughed when we finally got to the top... there was a house about 30 yards away. Gotta believe we made this one WAY harder than it had to be. Nice view, though! TFTH!

Hubbie and I found this after a few minutes looking.....Although we never could find a path down to the "other" caches. We went all the way around. We went in the morning...but I bet this site is beautiful at sunset.

Spent Turkey day bikecaching along the bike trail Irvine - Newport beach. It was fun and challenging, found 60 caches.

Quick find for the last cache for the day. It's time to bike back to Irvine where I left my car. I have about 45 mins before sunset.

Tagging along on a business trip with my husband, oh we are from Alabama; so, I had plenty of time to find some caches and see the area. Found 5 of 7 that I had listed today. This was #4 of the day! WATTA VIEW...thanks for the trail start location! Along the way, the BLACK Halloween cat ran from me, lizards, rabbits, birds, all were startled! TFTC

Nice hike with Foon and Troupb-b - lots of excitement trying to find parking and avoid being run down in the parking lot at the hotel (they don't tow at night from the 'golf' spaces). A pretty magnificent view in the dark. Thanks for the fun.
