You may get a closer look at the waterfowl from this location. Look for other wildlife, particularly at dusk. You can walk right up to this one, near the end of a short trail. No need to go off into the thick brush. Bring a pencil. Note: This cache contains a printed logsheet that clearly identifies this cache by name. Don't be fooled by imposters.

Wow, DNFs must be contagious. You see a DNF, and you don't EXPECT to find it, so you don't try as hard. I stopped off and checked on this one tonight and I am happy to report the cache is exactly as I placed it back in November, and only has one signature on the log sheet. You guys are gonna have to try harder! Cache on!

Couldn't find it. Now I see that neither can anyone else.

I wasn't fooled by imposters, I was just fooled. Next time.

I'd like to have hint that Peasinapod used.
I used a 3-inch log to help clear the area.

The only DNF of the day. Spent a fair amount of time traversing the area with six of us in the group. If you can walk right up to it then we are missing something. Have to try this on the next trip out here.

Today I brought WavyGirl, sillyCutie and Nickelodeon with me. We looked a long time for this one, but no luck. It was getting late in the afternoon, and we still wanted to look for the three caches in the Tunnel, so we gave up on this one. Maybe another day.

This one was tough to spot. I first removed the stray fake container I found here last week and then set about searching for the real one. Armed with a flashlight, determination and a hint from OC Clay I spent about 15 minutes looking til I finally found it! I signed the virgin logsheet and moved on. This was hard to find in the dark! Thanks.

I checked up on this one this morning. The good news is, this cache is still present and accounted for. The bad news is, no one has signed the log sheet since I replaced it last month. So, if you THOUGHT you found it, you didn't. There have been reports of a 35mm film can micro somewhere at this location. That is NOT the cache! If you find this IMPOSTER, kindly remove it to avoid further confusion. The REAL cache container is similar to several others on this trail (BC2, BC5, BC10, BC20) and has a printed logsheet inside that clearly identifies this cache by name. Sorry, I forgot to bring a pencil to put inside.

When I replaced the log, I did re-hide the cache in its original position. It had "wandered" a bit, making it too easy. I expect this one is right where I left it, but I will make a point to go check on it if no one finds it before Christmas.
