This cache is dedicated to the brave Special Operations soldiers who are serving their country overseas. In particular, the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) is known as The "Quiet Professionals."

AFSOC was established May 22, 1990 and is headquartered at Hurlburt Field, Florida. It is America’s specialized air power, deploying forces anytime, anywhere. Its missions are: forward presence and engagement, information operations, precision employment strike, and special operations forces mobility. AFSOC combat controllers function in the most difficult and hostile conditions, surveying and securing airdrop or landing zones, into and out of which they safely guide our military aircraft. AFSOC pararescuemen (PJs) find and save downed pilots on land or water, providing emergency medical treatment to the injured and defending them in combat situations. AFSOC pararescuemen also use their life saving skills in manmade and natural disasters.

One such PJ hid this cache.

Combat aircraft flown by AFSOC include MH-53J/M PAVE LOW, EC-130E COMMANDO SOLO, AC-130H/U GUNSHIP, MC-130P COMBAT SHADOW, MC-130E/H COMBAT TALONS I/II, the CV-22 OSPREY, UH-1N HUEY, and the CASA 212-200 (Partial List).

They are all known as the "Quiet Professionals!"

Log only matchbox type container - bring pen and be covert on your mission, like an AFSOC forward controller!

Had lots of time to search and found lots of empty beer bottles and trash but no cache.

looked and looked... nothing... It's so overgrown and there's so mant dead leaves and braches, it's seem to be buried in layers of leaves... Maybe I'll try in a few months when they all rot away....

It was getting dark, and we weren't sure when they locked the gates to the park. Hunted around from the top of the bridge, but will have to do a better search on a later date.

Checked on the cache and it is doing fine and ready to be found. Will update the hint to help since the foliage has grown since placement.

tree cover and numerous hiding places made it difficult to find. Had it not been a micro we would have rated it a 25 percent confidence search (not at all confident that it wasn't there). Because it was a micro there's no way to know if it was still there or not.

My gps had hit ground zero on the brige. Look in all the same muddy and mucky places as everyone else but with no luck. Maybe next time...

Spent a while getting to GZ. Didn't really know the way in and the GPS was a little confused at first. Eventually I found the area to be in and I, like others, had to rely on the geosenses. Coords were 20 ft off, but given the foliage, it probably isn't that bad. TFTC. Good one.

This one is probably not the best for a first timer. It had me bent over for quite some time before I discovered it. I fixed the camo. What is holding it in place will not last long. Please bring some glue! Thanks for the adventure!

We were at Mason park for Persian New Year and decided to do a little caching. This was my first cache and, unfortunately, an unsuccessful one. I wonder if the leaves are covering it?
