You'll find this one near the high water mark. We'll have to see if it stays put through the winter rains. No need to move anyting to see it.

Lots of DNFs here. Kicked around a few "rats' nests," but to no avail. Could you deactivate this one until you can get around to replacing it?

We didn't find it either. We did pick up a couple of ticks, however! We saw coyotes and a strange ferret-like creature as we enjoyed walking in this area. Hope you fix your cache where we can find it next time we are in CA.
The ferret-like creature turns out to be a Southwest Long Tailed Weasel. Mason Park was interested in the sighting and want to share the picture with other parks.

Searched high and low but, came up empty handed.

Didn't find it. Not that many places to look. And considering the description, it should be visible without digging for it. Considering the 3 other DNFs, it might be worth a look.

Searched the area until it started to rain. Seemed like we were in the right location but unable to find.

Hints Looks more like a rats nest.
