The section of the lake that you enter is not closed off. There is limited parking but, there is parking. It is over 1 mile which is why there is a 2 rating for the terrian.
This cache is located near Barbara's lake, the largest natural lake in Orange County. There are some short steep inclines, but the views are well worth the effort. Container is a tupperware container with misc. items.

Decided to finish up some of the caches in the area. Blaze has been here before, but that was before we took up caching. Forshirs first time. We love the view here.

A little warm out today but we had a nice hike in. Walked in from El Toro and stuck to the right at the top of the hill. Beautiful little lake - lots of critters out. Took the I love camping container and left blue glass star - Thanks for the great location and hide..

What a great place. It is really nice around the lake. Out with Ycats&Ekard for some caching. Easy find, but the walk is about 2.5mi round trip from El Toro Rd. Needs more caches on the trail to get some more cachers out to this cache. Thanks for the interesting location and the exercise.
