On our very first day of geocaching, we found a cache near here called Jonathan's Nest.

When we first heard of PowerCaching trails, we thought of PowerLine parks like this. Boy were we surprised when we visited such powercaching areas like Thousand Oaks and Palm Springs. This is in a park in Fountain Valley that made us think of power caching. (Just look up.)

Since 1975, Orange County Water District has operated a seawater barrier (underground water dam) to keep the ocean water from mixing with and contaminating underground water supplies. A mixture of wastewater purified at Water Factory 21 in Fountain Valley and deep well water is pumped to the wells and injected into the ground. This injected water creates an underground dam, blocking seawater from entering the groundwater basin. The City of Fountain Valley uses groundwater for 75% of its water needs. Groundwater costs about one-third the price of imported surface water, so this groundwater must continue to be protected from seawater intrusion.

Cool Howdy from TRAKD Cool
My partner “Brave Sir Robin” and I finished up another day of classes at our conference and headed out to find a few caches. We really needed to stretch our legs with these long days so this was a perfect walk. We spotted the treasure quickly and signed the log. Thanks for the adventure. Wink Cheers ToungeOut

TRAKD and I adventured forth after serving our time at a conference - we needed a caching break. So we strapped on our walking shoes and grabbed a bunch. This was a quick find for us. Thank for the excuse to adventure.

Everything was dry in the cache except the log book. It's all dry now and happily resting in its own little bag. It's back!! --Happy :)

Out caching after Pacific Marathon. Mama Jack found the cache. The cache is damp. Maybe the injected water seeped in.

Out caching with MIB on Super Bowl Sunday. Contents are a little moist, but the log was stickerable. TFTC.

Nice size cache. Took bracelet and left TigerandPossum's signature sterling silver Tiger in the log bag. The insides need a little maintenance, as everything was damp. TFTC. SL.
