| Due to changes in geocaching rules for Crystal Cove State Park, I had to relocate the "Gauntlet" Cache. I renamed it back to it's original name and made it a separate cache, so that geocachers could log them both. |
The Missing Link Cache, a relocated
"Gauntlet", is now in a decon container, and very close to the trail.

This is a popular destination. I met several other bikers up at the top. They didn't pay any attention to me as I looked for, found, signed, and replaced the cache. The trails up here are loads of fun to ride on.

Out for a run with the Long Beach Hash House Harriers, though I was walking today due to a bum ankle. I also left trail early on and was off on my own. Spent a few minutes looking and was able to locate without too much trouble. Great area! T: pin, L: bottle cap. Thanks for the hide!

Realized I tood the wrong way so I did some others and picked this one up on the way back. Don't forget to log the benchmark that is not hard to miss. Cache was in great shape. The views were great too. Thanks for hiding a cache here. I got a really go workout....especially after discovering the elevator. Wish I had know about it before trying to ride down it. Long story, but I'm going to need to get my gps fixed.

Nice hike ! It was a difficult find, because we did not use a GPS, just the map . TFTC! Took the alien parachuter, left a blue spinning top. Watch out for barbed wire across the trail branch!!

I went riding here tonight after work. Usually when I get to the top of the Missing Link Trail, there are a few people resting and enjoying the view. Tonight it was quiet, so I decided to poke around and find the cache. I didn't have my GPS but we found the original cache a couple of years ago so I kind of knew where to look. I signed the log and just as I was putting it back, a mtb rider came riding up. Thanks Dr. Bob

Our first cache find ever...TFTH. It was a gorgeous day and a great view from the peak. I had a harder time finding it but my girlfriend (w/o the GPS) found it no problem...darn intution of a woman. Opened it up and took some pics. Thanks again! TNLN.

2nd cache found today, Eric found it. Took a purple ball and a Czech coin. Container was stuffed so we didn't add any trade items.
Beautiful 360 degree view today, at 1000' elevation.
TFTC!
