Didn't find it 2/25/2007 by Smoochersmom
Hoped on a Sunday afternoon it would be easier to find with some of the establishments closed. Yea they were closed but I still couldn't locate the cache...

Searched and left due to muggles. Returned later with less muggles but still no joy. At least am in good company with cache in pocket on the dnf list.

No sizeable cache container was located, but it was dark with college kids partying all over the place. Made it hard to look, let alone think with all the noise. Coords are all over the place this evening for us. Will have to try again some other time.

Found it 1/25/2007 by Jeffster83
I thought for sure someone would have already found this one last night, but there's always the chance. No one had logged a find this morning at 0700. I took SillyCutie to school (WavyGirl is recovering from the flu, so she stayed home) and came to find the cache.

At 0900, there was a gardener right at the cache site, who seemingly could find nothing better to do than to drag a hose back and forth around ground zero. The only business open at this hour was the dry cleaners, and it is not exactly the kind of business near which one can loiter without alarming the gendarmes.

I went over to the soulless corporate coffeehouse on the other side of the parking lot, used up the last giftcard I have from them, and returned to ground zero. Now I could sit and pretend to drink coffee while I looked for the cache. Performed a little bit of CITO in a big bush, and that must have tipped the karma scales in my favor, because then I found the cache. Now all I had to do was retrieve it when the gardener's back was turned.

It took me about ten minutes from the first grab to the final replacement. That gardener certainly earned his pay this morning. There's nothing in the cache but the logsheet, although there is room for items. I think I am first to find.

Thanks for the fun!
