| A small cache in a wooded area along the Bikencache Trail. |
This is another one where you usually just can't get a good GPS reading at the cache hiding spot. From nearby marker 30, you only go about twenty feet at bearing 230 (approximately SouthWest) to get to the actual cache.
You do have to step over a small trench, which may have some water in the bottom, depending on the time of year. This is what gives this one the Terrain Rating of 2.
When I was scoping out this spot, a California King Snake was spotted crossing the path nearby. They are named King Snakes because they actually eat other snakes, including rattlesnakes, to whose venom they are immune.
Bring a pen to sign the log.

Stop # 31 on today’s 50 cache bike ride. Found the cache but missed the snake (which was OK with me.) The shoes only got a little muddy and somehow I managed not to slip on the muddy bank and kill myself. TNLNSL. TFTC!

One of the many, many caches we found as we royally owned bikencache today. Did I mention we walked the whole way?

The ambitious trio of Humpsty, clean dirt, and Travail70 decided to take on bikencache today. We started at Big Bridge----little creek (gc11gv6) and walked all the way to Can U Canoe (gc1azbh). We snagged almost every active cache along the 12 mile route today (1 DNF).
For some reason Humpsty volunteered to go get this one. We let him. And yeah, he found out that the solid ground was not so solid (see attached picture).
He survived and had a nice mud-tan to show for it at the end of the day.
This was another nice big cache. We took some time to look through it. Good swag.

Stepping over the small trench was fine going in but coming out I missed and my one shoe is black and stinky. No GPS and I get this one 10 minutes after the last. TFTC

After a nice little jump we found this one and took the kangaroo key chain and left a bracelet.

This turned out to be my last find before heading back to base camp, as I was losing daylight quickly at this point. Took me a while to find this one, but I eventually did. Thanks for the great series. Can't wait to come back and finish them all.

As soon as we read the cache description and it mentioned a snake, we both knew Mr. Natural would be the one to try for this one!
