Continuing down the path around the bay, you find the next cache in a bush.

This is at the bottom of a steep downhill run. Beware of the bicyclists that come dowhhill at a very high rate of speed, often with little control. The cars that share this road are much less threatening.

This area is particularly fun in the evening, with lots of little critters visible. Small cache, so bring a pen.

For some reason, it always seems to be muddy here. Can anyone explain that???

-----------------------
Mommy found it! Good thing she decided to come along! :)

Had two extra friends of the boys along - including a first-time GC'er.

Got lots of funny looks from the muggles, as usual - busy this evening. Found it after more silly searching than four little boys and two gr'ups should have to search. :P

Took the Keys To My Heart TB - travelling to Arizona tomorrow and figured the Keyes could take the Keys on a journey.

Took ionizer, keychain, OC_Clay chip.
Left Claw, stickers, top, die.

Stop # 29 on today’s 50 cache bike ride. Wasn't able to search because there's now a small swamp between the road and GZ. I'll come back when it's drier.

Good news, bad news. Good news is that fate put us here at the right time. There was a hummingbird near where the cache ought to be who was stuck in a spider web, hanging sideways by one wing and flapping like mad with the other, but not going anywhere. We saw this and were able to release it by gently moving the spider web away with a stick from where it connected with the tree, giving the hummingbird enough freedom to fly away. He seemed just fine. Who knew a spider web could catch a hummingbird? The spider would have eaten for a year. Bad news is we did not find the cache, but after saving the hummingbird, we really didn't care so much. It was really, really muddy, so was hard to look around.

One of the many, many caches we found as we royally owned bikencache today. Did I mention we walked the whole way?

The ambitious trio of Humpsty, clean dirt, and Travail70 decided to take on bikencache today. We started at Big Bridge----little creek (gc11gv6) and walked all the way to Can U Canoe (gc1azbh). We snagged almost every active cache along the 12 mile route today (1 DNF).

We're not sure why it's muddy here either. I bet it's something to do with runoff from the houses above.

Thanks for not putting the cache in the mud! I know... you got to that later. Smile

TNLNSL.. TFTC! still going...

Didn't find this one cause of all the mud and slipperiness. But I did see my first hummingbird nest! It was SOOO tiny. And I wouldn't have noticed it at all if I didn't see the bird fly into it.

Found this GREAT series while staying at the Newport Dunes RV park. Thanks for placing and maintaining all of these caches! We had a great time.
