The cumulative effect of excessive dogpile caches has finally taken its toll on Orange County....be wary...

If you pass a tree trunk, you've gone too far.

Very cool container. It was uncovered so I hid it a little better but not too deep. Thanks.

Finally, I capped this one. Great hide. I actually got discourged and picked it up thinking that even though I had not found the cache I had found this neat thing. Then I notice the neat thing was the cache.

The ambitious trio of Humpsty, clean dirt, and Travail70 decided to take on bikencache today. We started at Big Bridge----little creek (gc11gv6) and walked all the way to Can U Canoe (gc1azbh). We snagged almost every active cache along the 12 mile route today (1 DNF).

Yeah, I got deet. And I needed it! There are some nasty critters running around GZ. And I'm sure they all bite!!!

I was way off on the wrong side of the trail while humpsty and clean dirt were looking in the right direction. There are a lot of trees in this area. Sorta.

I think humpsty walked right by the cache and didn't see it. Clean dirt saw it, picked it up, and didn't think that he had it. I reminded him that there was a visible long in a microcentrifuge tube right there... oh yeah.

It was difficult to remove the log, but the humpsty got it with a sharp TOTT.

TNLNSL.. sprayed deet. TFTC

Well I went back with all the hints and notes and if this cache were a deadly snake I bet it would have bitten me multiple times. Another DNF. I will try again next week.

Tried this one without the benefits of the clues. I got a DNF for my effort. Oh well, I ride past here several times a week. Next Time.

The second stop on our 6 person, 8 cache walk around this end of the back bay. This one tool a few minutes - the last finder (or the wind) hide the container well and we had some trouble figuring out which item the hint referred to. Finally, Heather made the find and we were on our way. Cute container! TNLNSL. TFTC!

10th of 14 found today. First one we had to read the description of and even used the hint. It still took us an awful long time to find this one, but geodad persevered and we finally found the bugger! TFTC!
