This is an easy to get to but more difficult to find cache.
Congratulations to Pacholik on the FTF.

Linksys and Cisco sell equipment to Time Warner's cable TV business who's service is call "RoadRunner". BUT the "roadrunner" here has feathers not BYTES.

If you visit at night, watch out for the rabbits, they are everywhere and there sure are a LOT of them.

If you visit in the daytime, be quiet and watch for the REAL road runnerS. They come to visit the people in the building hoping they'll feed him some fresh hamburger. (*YES, they eat MEAT and rarely eat seeds and plants.)

They've been known to sit on the vehicles in the parking lot (the taller the better) and use them as a look out for hunting. Keep an eye out for them, if you see them, send/post the picture for the cache to hold (virtually).
First one to get a picture of him, gets to name THEM!!! Yes, there is a mated pair living here.

The cache container has room for only small items. Bring a pen with you.

Please be aware of the people in the area and try to be stealthy if they are around....

See if you can keep the networking theme, it may be hard to do. I had trouble thinking of the items that started the cache....

Cache originally contained:
portion of a 100-Mb ethernet cable
ethernet cable extender (female to female joiner)
portion of a gig-a-bit ethernet cable
anti-static grounding strap
golf tee
flat marble

Good luck hunting the cache but PLEASE, NO HUNTING the roadrunner...

Please log your "no finds".

Caching with Stantastic today around Irvine. I don't understand the need for so many hints on a classic hide but we followed our general rule, that if there's "one of those" near, check it first and it paid off.

Used BikenFind's advice about the diff between Garmin and Magellan and found it right away.

Found this one, was a little skeptical upon approach just cause I thought for sure I wasn't anywhere to hide a cache, but what do you know, you found a GREAT place to hide it. Top of the container was broken though, need replacing. TFTC TNLNSL

Out for a run with the Long Beach Hash House Harriers. The trail went right by this one so I took a few minutes to look. Found without trouble. T: Ethernet cable end, L: tiny little doll. Thanks for the hide!

quick find on my way to #500
The container cap is gone, and had about an inch of water in it. I replaced with a new log sheet in a baggy, and put it all back upside down so it should stay drier now.

At a workshop at UCI and thought I would pick off a few caches. Very easy on a Saturday morning with no one around. Quick park and grab! TFTC.

Hints (Back)
#1 The container is hanging around the parking lot.
#2 The road runner won't be able to get it.
#3 Most people won't need special tools but a small few might.
#4 This is NOT low hanging fruit.
#5 It's not as hard as you might think.
