When the angry mob of geocachers learned what had happened to one of their best OC cache finders, they turned on the one responsible and crucified him at this very spot. Using specialized bicycle tubes they improvised from passing muggles, the angry mob tied down his arms and legs before raising the Cross. Note that one such tube was left in a tree near the final resting spot.

After he uttered the immortal words, "AdMiN, why hath thou forsaken me?" His shoulders and head fell limp and a hush settled upon the assembled 42 OC geocachers who witnessed all: Team Farf, mojostones, allinfun, Lab Rat, Road2Ruin, Red Ryder, BeckTrex, Crew Shifflet, karstic, Boyd Chicks, HOTPNKHRT, Embryo Mirror, TerryDad2, OC_Clay, KiAyker, BOONDOCKERS, fjbii, StarGazersToo, Gumby & the slow pokeys, Possum Belly, Happy & Skippy, JeffnBev, Amtraker, DopeyDuck, Team Instream, Maxpappy and Lillybreath, Team Geo-Rangers, TVDon, and VickiJS to name a few. Follow the path of the funeral procession, sixty-four paces to the SouthEast, to HIS final resting spot. Be careful as you don't want to suffer the same fate as TerryDad2 or BOONDOCKER who almost did not make it across the meridian, for muggles in 7 chariots traveling at high speeds clipped them both. It was like an arcade game of Frogger that went awry said one of the Boyd Chicks, "I'm too young and never played it, but my mom told me all about it." There is No Parking near HIS final resting spot, but there is a small babbling brook where the geo-faithful can be baptized by TVDon on the first Sunday of every month at high noon.

The ammo cache tombstone marks the final resting place and contains the usual swag, log book and trade items. In lieu of trades, bring and leave flowers and watch your footing! The Love Bug travel bug was offered to make peace with the almighty AdMin.

It was a lovely funeral.

Excerpt from The Geo-Chronicle of M & M, by TVDon, chapter six, verses 5 through 38.

Like a phoenix that arose from the ashes, HE is back and what a transformation has occurred!

On the third day, and as dawn began to break, two eager geocachers HAPPY and HOTPINKHRT, came to see where they placed HIS body.

And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the AdMiN descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the ammo can, and sat upon it.

His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow;

And for fear of the Angel, the local geocachers did shake, and became as dead men, but not HAPPY & HOTPINKHRT!

And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not; for I know that ye seek HIM, who was crucified.

He is not here; for he is risen, as he said.

Come see this place where he was. And go quickly, and tell his SoCal Geocachers Association colleagues that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Riverside County. There shall ye see him; lo, I have told you.

And they departed quickly from the grave site with fear and great joy, and climbed the highest nearby hill to proclaim this new geo-gospel.

And as they went to tell the SMILING geo-minions on the hill, behold, HE met them, saying, "All hail." And they came and genuflected before HIM. To prove HIS being, HE showed then the scar marks from where the mob had tied him to the cross. They believed!

As further proof, HE performed a miracle and brought Mick back to regain his #2 status for finds in the OC, for a bother's love is like no other.

HE gathered the cachers around them and proclaimed, "I have much left to do on mother earth so my time was extended by the mighty AdMiN. I have suffered, died and was buried, but I'm back with a new commitment to teach the geo-gospel in the ways of clandestine concealments, to populate the world with even more wonderful caches, and finally, to be a kinder and gentler geocacher to the environment and all living creatures, the birds in the sky, the rabbits in the fields, and even a happy frog or two in this nearby creek."

Sign the log to attest and witness to this miracle resurrection.

Didn't find it 3/15/2008 by pepperthief
Good grief! Bushwacking doesn't half cover our journey to this spot! We knew that it was near the road, the creek, etc, but it seemed that we might be able to get there with some moderate off-roading from the nearby Mighty Dee caches. We quickly discovered that our imposing physiques were unimpressive when facing the weed growth and dead trees between "here" and "there". We slogged on, crossed the creek a couple of times, practically homesteaded the area along the road, and still didn't see it. We'll give it another go a bit later, after the bruises fade.

With chariots racing by, I tried to find the resting place but could not locate it. Will add to my watchlist and see if someone else finds it and provides addtional clues in their write-up.

Got a nudge on this one, which made all the difference. Container is rock-solid and dry, two things I like in a cache. TFTC!

Did this over a year ago and recently flew to OC and took a friend caching - new exactly where it "should" be, but it is not there.

This was actually my second time at this cache, but the first time I didn't quite get it. So having plowed around aimlessly, I asked a previous finder for some tips but it was too long ago. Anyway, with another set of eyes I tried again, but still no luck.

Update: 2/7/07. Third time here and I finally spied the cache. 'Bout time too. Them chariots are comin' awful fast. Anyway, signed the replacement log and went back for another game of 'reality frogger'. Thanks for the cache.

Have no reason to believe it is gone, but will check on it before Christmas to celebrate HIS geo-birth.
