| Cammo'd cache--your basic "tupperware type" cache. In another nice park in Orange County. Watch out for muggles. Please re-plant the cache exactly where you found it! |
When placed the cache contained the TB "Lood the Turtle", and a few other "treasures". There is a log book and pen.
It's a nice place to take your dog, if you have one. Sweetie enjoyed the walk in this park.

Came back to clear up a DNF I had since last June. After expanding my search West (15-20 feet) from where my GPS said was GZ, I finally found it. TNLNSL TFTC

Down in Costa Mesa buying some tix for Manhattan Transfer, so I decided to do a little caching while I was out. Brings me joy to find a cache that has so many DNFs before me -- but then again, I've been in the same boat and felt really dumb thinking, "How come I couldn't find it and THEY COULD?!!" It's been around a long time, so too late to complain that this is NOT a 1/1 rated cache. The coords were "nearly" perfect for me, but it did take a bit of thrashing around before I found it. And to answer the question posed in the hint -- I WOULDN'T, at least not in a place like this

We searched the whole wall, our GZ just kept expanding. looked in the hollow tree where we would hide it, No Joy! TFTC!

I just didn't look for it in the right way. After using my TOTT, and then considering the hint, I think I just missed finding it. I did tell Hoss976, that I bet this one is ....
