Continuing down the Bikencache bike path, this one gives you the opportunity for a little creative thinking "outside the box".

This one is a micro, containing just a log sheet, so please BYOWU (bring your own writing utensil). This one is right out in the open, yet cleverly camoflauged. There are not many places that it could be hiding at this location!

If you are out hiking or biking in the evening, you can often see a nice sunset from this path. Also watch the treetops for the large birds that come to roost.

One of the many, many caches we found as we royally owned bikencache today. Did I mention we walked the whole way?

The ambitious trio of Humpsty, clean dirt, and Travail70 decided to take on bikencache today. We started at Big Bridge----little creek (gc11gv6) and walked all the way to Can U Canoe (gc1azbh). We snagged almost every active cache along the 12 mile route today (1 DNF).

This was actually kinda hidden. Yeah, we knew where it was. Either on that one or that one. Humpsty and I took the correct one, while clean dirt was rewarded with some shade. At this point we were still all signing individually... but that ended soon enough. Muggles here, but patience beats them handily.

Had another layover in SNA today with 81Flyboy, and we decided to grab a few more Bikencaches. We were limited to being on foot today, and we logged 10 miles this afternoon.

Thanks for the cache!

PS I have a hide just like this back at home! BigSmile

Trinkethnr and Team Monkey'z were out on the San Diego Creek Bike Trail this morning Biken-N-Cachen when we found this one. Team Monkey'z is closing in on a milestone, 800! Nice easy find, SL.

We saw the cache location all the way from Bikencache 12, but didn't know where exactly is was. We did a quick search of the location, but found no cache. At this point, we thought that the cache owner might have actually placed the entire structure as a cache, but after opening some enclusures we probably shouldn't have (BlackEye), we realized that this was not the case, and quickly found the cache that we had overlooked earlier. Very nice cammo job! Great location, but the log is a bit damp.

TNLNSL TFTC!
