Adjacent to (but not inside of) a wildlife refuge near a rutted dirt trail. Easy walk from street. WATCH OUT FOR BEEHIVE!!! DANGER!!!

(Sung to the tune of "Sitting on the Dock of the Bay")

"I left my home in Georgia,
headed for the Irvine Back Bay.
I got nothin' to live for
guess I'm going Geocaching today...
Now I'm just caching in the Back of the Bay,
watching the birds fly away...
caching in the Back of the Bay,
not wasting time."

(apologies to Otis Redding)

The hardest part about this cache is putting the double-locked rubbermaid paint container back together. The directions are written on the lid. Please follow them or you won't be able to close it correctly.

The contents include a bunch of stuff, NO TRAVEL BUGS as of 12-1-06 and itty bitty log book.

Please do not trample the ice plant. Muggles generally not a problem but an occasional shortcutter may walk by so be alert. We had no problem hiding it (you'll understand when you find it). Next to (but not inside of) a nature preserve with a VERY beautiful view, birds and water! Great place to walk, birdwatch and geocache.

And, by the way...there is NO CHEESE!

Stop # 44 on today’s 50 cache bike ride. The hint really helped on this one - I don't think I would have checked there otherwise. Didn't see the bee hive. Thanks!

I was around this area yesterday hunting down some Bikencaches, and I decided to stop by the area again today on my way to dinner with a colleague. Very good hiding spot. I imagine I would've been stumped for a while longer were it not for one of the log pictures revealing the cache! Somewhat tricky getting back to GZ, but I handled it in flip-flops. SL-TFTC!

A quick break from tracking down the Bikencache caches. No travel bugs in residence. Thanks for the cache.

Excellent hide. Now everywhere I go I am suspicious of this type of cammo.

My significant other and I where Out’n about with our friends from Coeur d’Alene Idaho, showing them what it is like to geocache without SNOW. This was the first cache of the day and our friends from Idaho made the find. I think we got them hooked on geocacheing. I signed the log and drop a Dinosaur into the cache.

#89 - Easy find this morning, even after realize that none of my queried caches for this trip had downloaded to my paperless system - user error! Thanks for getting me out of the hotel and down to the back bay. TNLN, SL.
