Access this cache from a paved bike path. Parking is available at a nearby shopping center. Note: 7/23/05 We added a hint because the purpose of this cache is to be found by seekers. Addendum 8/19/05: The cache has been moved (coords updated) from its original location and provided some additional camo for the interim while we continue to brainstorm a solution that will make this cache less muggle-prone. |
The intent of this cache is to provide a variety of cache containers and tools to be used to establish other geocaches. As the Mother of other caches, it would be nice if the children could drop a note home to let Mama Cache know where they have set up house. After all the kids leave home, Mama wants to run a boarding home for weary travelers.
Cache WAS a waterproof camouflaged container big enough to hold the following items:
· ~40 micro containers each approximating the size of a classic Zippo lighter or floss container. These can be clipped onto a belt or hung from a button, a branch, or what have you. Originally designed to hold and carry earplugs on a lanyard. · 1 large clear plastic Jelly Belly bean jar. · 4 memo books for use as logs (plus one for the cache log!). · 1 heart-shaped Altoids container. · 1 regular size Altoid container. · 1 mini mint container. · 2 round Altoid containers. · 1 4-inch X 1-inch plastic screw top tube with aluminum cap. · Several magnet strips. · 6 Pencils · Ten stencils “GEOCACHE” (½-inch letter). · Two extreme micro toothpick containers. · 10 English/Spanish stash notes. · First To Find prize of a USB mini-digital camera/web cam
8/19/05 UPDATE: Cache container is now a large cookie can (not waterproof) that is stuffed to the brim.

Stop # 5 on today’s 50 cache bike ride. This one wasn't too tough. I found a 'geocache' stencil lying on ground at GZ. I returned it to the cache. TNLNSL. TFTC!

One of the many, many caches we found as we royally owned bikencache today. Did I mention we walked the whole way?

The ambitious trio of Humpsty, clean dirt, and Travail70 decided to take on bikencache today. We started at Big Bridge----little creek (gc11gv6) and walked all the way to Can U Canoe (gc1azbh). We snagged almost every active cache along the 12 mile route today (1 DNF).
I like big caches, and I cannot lie! Humpsty made the grab on this one after I slid past the cache, paying more attention to the fence than the bush. It's pretty hard to maneuver with a backpack on.

Grabbed this one before going to the Titans vs. Anteaters baseball game...was a little disappointed at the lack of swag in this GIANT cache. Took a set of mini-lincoln logs and left Woody figurine and a precious moments wanna be.
