Nano Nation is a new themed series involving nano containers intended to point out some of the more out of the way places visited by the ever roaming Team Geo-Rangers, afterall, it's harder to spot a fast moving target!  |
The point of the series is to find two caches on the same day in very different areas. Just search on Nano Nation, which will be in all the titles, if you are curious about the location of the twin nano cache or other siblings. This twin nano is GC1B6DG, Nano Nation: GOT TOTT?, and yes, there is a common evil placement theme linking the two.
Was reacquainted with this location searching for another cache in this area a few years ago. Recall the golf course nearby when only a very young child (~ 6 years old). Nana was an RN at Hoag Hospital and had her place just down the street. Recall many visits to this location and wanted to place a cache in honor of Nana! Her delicious coffee cake was enjoyed by all, and the recipe was obtained from a nearby neighbor!
Kudos to any geo-team that can manage an FTF on both caches on the same day! Incredibly, Gebskab has done it on two pairs. Accomplishing this warrants listing on this cache page! This is the sixth pair of nano twins published and the distance difficulty has been increased.

I understood that this one would be evil (these containers always are). I cursed and smiled when I spotted the cache. No TOTT needed but it was a near thing. Thanks for the fun.

Thank goodness we read the description and brought along the proper TOTT for this one. Couldn't get the sister cache today, it wasn't in the Pocket Query we had with us. We shall cache on!!! TFTC-TNLNSL

Let's just say that the discussion afterwards revolved around what was the stinkiest thing you've ever encountered and how did this location compare to it. PHEW that was a nose stinger.

WooHoo, now lets get outta here fast. I don't know what was going on in this area, but it was like the Jolly Green Giant had mega beans for lunch. It was incredible...I've been to places that stank before, but this one tops it.
With each of us holding our nose with one hand, it was teamwork in action...Boilermaker made the grab, Pacholik holding the light, Gryffindor3 with the Sharpie, and me...well, uh, moral support. Thanks for the cache.

Thought there might be another way to get it without tools
because of what JJG10101 mentioned and the fact that a repairman was outside my house today and told me how to do it. Got there and the cache had been lowered so that you could grab with no TOTT... if you are tall.
