Another micro cache by the Cacheflyer.

I always thought this spot was a little odd. The bench faces toward the hills and all the houses. There is a cute little creek in the bottom of the canyon and when it rains you can actually here water flowing. Anyways, once you've found the cache, you can rest here on the bench and enjoy the view.

Please replace as you found it. I did notice some muggle tracks on the ground nearby.

Looks like Pacholic and bajatym get co-credit for the FTF. Congratulations you two.

Out’n about in Newport Beach, working on some caches in, what I guess is being called, the Vista Ridge area. Great views, neat rock formations and cool places to hide caches. I was by this one last week and had to give it a DNF, so I thought I would give it another try. You just have to be methodical and persistent; a lot of luck plays a big part also. Great job of hiding this cache!! No TB’s or coins when I was there.

Dipping some TB's and coins I brought down from Norcal.

Despite the warnings and concerns from the missus, I climbed around a bit and found it. Actually easy to find once you figure out the best way to get to GZ. Neat area to explore. thx.

WOOHOO! I came back and was successful (braver!) this time! This is a fine example of doing things and going places I would not normally do if it wasn't for geocaching. BigSmile I am a happy camper.

Oh the cache was pretty darn cool too! Cool

After getting some insider trading information, I headed on over to the cache site in the hopes of getting this and another down the road before night fall. Well spent money on that rock climbing class I take each week prepared me for navigating this one! I tried to leave something but the snake I nearly grabbed while on my way down just did not want to fit in that tiny little box. Must have been the beautiful 74 degree day. Where was all this sunshine when I was at the race in Fontana this past weekend? TFTC!

At night! Was hoping for reinforcements given the perilous path but no cavalry arrived. Great placement and a very cool point out!

TFTC & the wonderful challenge!

Nobody croaked but the frogs!!!

It's all good!

I had checked the area last night lots of frogs. Based on the Terrian Rating I did not look down there much. Today after looking for another cache down the road. I stopped by and found Bajatym. We looked and looked. I even said this is a perfect spot for a cache. Bajatym spotted the cache on the other side from where I had just made the comment. The Terrian should be at least a 2 1/2 or 3 on this one.

Co FTF with Pacholic, I had just about given up searching high AND low, when another familiar cacher approached, so we teamed it again for a while and then I took a look in place we had both looked before, but from a different angle. It is a micro, but I would not call it "camo'd", it is hidden well!

Really nice placem, the creek area and the rocky features make for a scenic hunt.

Thanks for the fun!

Hints (Back)
It's a well placed altoids can. It's not within reach of the bench(15ft. lower elevation). It requires going over or around the railing. No more hints.
