My other three caches in the area are fairly easy, but this one is
a bit more difficult and different. Lots of brush to get through,
the size isn't listed, camoed, not a lot clues and so on. Not your
drive up and grab kind of cache.
Cache holder is fixed in place. Don't try and move it.
Congrads to Tar Baby for the FTF!

Enjoyed finding this one with our friends Syd and Dain. Tough might be an understatement for this cache. But persistence paid off. SL. TFTH.

Out caching with our good friends Hoffco. This one wasn't too hard to find, but it took a lot of perseverance to extract the log. Mr. Hoffco was the one who managed it. SL Thanks for the great hide!

Out’n about in Newport Beach, working on some caches in, what I guess is being called, the Vista Ridge area. Great views, neat rock formations and cool places to hide caches. Parked across the street from the area where the cache site was. There weren’t any obvious trails leading through the brush, so I took a bearing to the cache and just picked my way to GZ. Great camouflage job. It sure is “fixed in place” I still figured out how to retrieve the cache and sign the log.

Used the geocacher parking spot nearby and trecked in; all the while watching for creepy crawly things... I am happy to report I found the cache container without any creepy encounters.
Great camo and placement Thx 4 the hide!!

Well, its a little more challenging at night but pales in comparison to hiking ridgelines with no trails at night. :)
Almost did just that but opted to save that one for another day! ;)

Found it in the dark, with some rain sprinkles coming down, was fun just finding the correct path, but not tooo much bushwhacking, was glad to spot it fairly fast, interesting camo :) Log was dry surprisingly. Great hide with a worthy challenge.

Out and about today with Road2Ruin and ycats. This was bushwacking at it's best, which is not my favorite mode of travel. ycats spotted it right before I was about to give up. TFTC.
